Menopause affects us all and my guest Sarah Wilsher is on a mission to stop it being a taboo subject. No more hot flush or losing the plot jokes and ridicule – this is a part of evolving and doesn’t have to be embarrasing! Sarah starts us off with a powerful example of the massive confidence crisis she experienced at work – and takes us on a positive journey with lots of practical tips. A listen for those experiencing hormonal shifts and those who want to support them.
Menopause and more – the conversation on YouTube
Sarah Wilsher tells us a little about her work.
I’m a mid-life and menopause coach and I provide training into businesses to raise awareness about the menopause and the impact it can have not only on the people losing the hormones, but on those around them too. I explain how simple but effective support mechanisms can stop knowledgeable and experienced talent from leaving the workforce. I am passionate about changing the narrative around menopause and breaking the taboo so that no one else spends years of their valuable life wondering what on earth is happening to them…just like I did.
Her Facebook support group is called Caution! Menopause at Work.
